The Calvin Institute of Christian Worship is partnering with one of our member organizations (With Ministries) to host a gathering for the Disability Ministry Network, on Thursday and Friday, October 5th & 6th, 2023. The meeting will be held at the Prince Conference Center, 1800 E Beltline Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546, near the Calvin University campus.
Participants will only have the cost of getting to Calvin University’s Prince Conference Center. Dinner on October 5th and all meals on October 6th are paid for, as well as hotel rooms for the 5th and 6th.
The event will open with a Community Conversation (based on this model) led by Erik Carter to get our network of leaders brainstorming potential directions for our future.
The entire day on the 6th is dedicated to further conversation, reflection, and worship. We are exceedingly grateful for this opportunity to build dialogue and fellowship as peers as Christian leaders in disability ministry.
This event is for representatives of Disability Ministry Network members. However, we are also sharing this with those not yet a part of our Network to provide the opportunity and time for others to join and then participate in this and other events being planned for the future. Joining the Network begins by browsing through our Membership section on the DMN website and then using the online form to indicate interest.
